Avengers: Endgame is getting another release and will hit theatres on 28th June. It is a no-brainer that it is just a strategy to take over Avatar’s position in the list of top grossing movies of all time.

And why not? Even Avatar was re-released in theatres. However, if a movie really deserves to be applauded, then it has to be Titanic (also by James Cameron). When Titanic released, there weren’t many theatres as there are today; in fact, the number of theatres as compared to today’s scenario was much lesser. Not only the movie, had Titanic gone on to be third in the list of highest-grossing movies but it also won the highest number of Academy Awards!

But, I am not comparing Avengers: Endgame with Titanic; the point worth considering is that superhero movies are focused on earning big. Warner Bros. shut down Zack Snyder’s vision of DC universe because it wasn’t earning as good as Marvel movies primarily.
Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice is still one of those movies that are trolled on a regular basis. I am not getting into a superhero movie being or not being entertaining enough, but the fact remains that superhero movies are affected by the money-earning mentality and star power. For example, the Marvel Cinematic Universe gave us many entertaining gems, but one cannot deny that everything mostly revolved around Tony Stark! Is it possible that the actor, Robert Downey Jr., had a major influence in all of it?
Why I Loved Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice And What I Hated About It
When you think about it, Avengers: Endgame ended with Tony Stark sacrificing by putting on the gauntlet and “snapping” it, but that could have easily done by Captain Marvel who was also on the same battlefield! Or maybe Thor, at least the snap may not have killed him, given the fact that he is a God. But the movie needed an emotional punch in the gut, and maybe that is why Tony Stark was made to do it.
However, the entertainment value of Avengers: Endgame is so high that no one will or should complain about how it ended. After all, it worked, and the studio got what they wanted – a truckload of money and the audiences got to witness an epic saga.
Avengers: Endgame is still in theatres, and soon we will get the final version with the post-credits scene. Spider-Man: Far From Home will swing to theatres on 28th June 2019.
