This was certainly a no-brainer, and I was never as much impressed by any Marvel Cinematic Universe villain as the Mad Titan.
Thankfully, MTV Movie and TV Awards agree with that too! The iconic Marvel villain won the “Best Villain” award at the MTV Movie and TV Awards beating Jodie Corner from Killing Eve and Lupita Nyong ‘o from Us. Among the other nominees, there was Penn Badgley (You) and Joseph Fiennes (The Handmade’s Tale).

Although Thanos shone in Avengers: Infinity War more (and a bit dull in Avengers: Endgame), he got the award for the sequel! It’s understandable that the Thanos in Avengers: Infinity War was seasoned, experienced, and more mature as compared to the Thanos in Avengers: Endgame.
In addition to that, Thanos in Avengers: Endgame already had war in his mind and was more ruthless. And that’s what Matt Aitken believes too. Aitken oversaw the development of Thanos’ in the Avengers movies, and he said that he actually intended to show the youth and battle-mode of the Mad Titan and in my opinion, he perfectly did that!
